Realme has now officially shared an image of the box of their upcoming smartphone Realme 8. The image reveals some key specs of the mobile. Realme 8 is the lower-end model in the upcoming 8 series of Realme. Realme had also earlier revealed the camera specifications of the Realme 8 Pro in their Camera Innovation event. The company is currently gearing up to launch the 8 series sometime later this month. But meanwhile Realme India CEO, Madhav Seth has teased the specifications of Realme 8.

Now, the image doesn’t mention anywhere that the specification is of Realme 8 and not Realme 8 Pro. In fact, the only confirmed thing is that the image was shot from Realme 8 Pro. So, that will give you an idea about the camera on the upcoming phone. But, coming back to the specifications. The reason we are certain that the box is of Realme 8 and not 8 Pro is because the box clearly mentions “64MP AI Quad Camera”. And, Realme 8 Pro has a 108MP camera. The other hint that the box is of Realme 8 and not 8 Pro is the G95 chipset. MediaTek’s Helio G95 doesn’t support a 108MP camera. So, it is quite obvious that the box is not of Realme 8 Pro.

Specifications of Realme 8

So now, what are the specifications of Realme 8? The first feature mentioned is that Realme 8 will have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. The refresh rate can be assumed to be 60Hz. Because, if it was higher than that, then the company would have surely mentioned that. On the camera front, the device will have a quad-camera setup, with a 64MP lens as a primary sensor.

As mentioned earlier, the device will be powered by a Mediatek Helio G95 gaming chipset. The device battery capacity is 5000mAh with 30W fast-charging.

As of now, no detail is available regarding the price, but expect it to start from somewhere near 14000 INR.
