Google is set to bring several new features to Google Meet and Google Classroom

Google recently rolled out several new features for Google Meet and Google Classroom. These products from Google saw a surge in their daily usage during the pandemic. Google is now going to provide as much as 50 new features to these services to ensure that users stay away from its rivals.

Here are the new features that these services are going to get-

Google Meet

Teachers will now have more control over their meeting as they can mute everyone at once and can also end the meeting for everyone. Furthermore, they will also have control over who can access the char features and who can not. 

Later this year, Google Meet will also support multiple hosts, which means multiple teachers can take control of the class. Google will also release emoji reactions for Meet and the app will also work better with poor network connectivity.

Google will also bring in a larger tiled view with a 7×7 grid, to view up to 49 students at once.

Google Classroom

Google will be rolling out several new features for Google Classroom by next year. And teachers will have options to choose from the slew of external add-ons to make their lives easier. 

Teachers will now be able to share the link with students so that they can join their classroom with just one click. Earlier, they had to share a code. Teachers can also now check for plagiarism between students. 

Google Classroom will also now support over 54 languages and among those, there will be 10 Indian languages.
