Redmi K40 Series has been launched in China

The much-awaited Redmi K40 has been launched in China. Thir were tonnes of leaks and rumours about this phone. And now finally Xiaomi has put an end to all the speculations by releasing the phone. So, here are all the details about Xiaomi’s Redmi K40 series.
Redmi K40
The non-pro version of the Redmi K40 comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. It is available in up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 4,520mAh battery, and it can be fast-charged by a 33W charger.
Redmi K40 also gets a 48Mp Sony sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP telephoto-macro camera. The phone is available in four variants. The variants along with the price are given below:
6+128GB – CNY 1,999 (~Rs. 24,700)
8GB+128GB – CNY 2,199 (~Rs. 24,700)
8GB+256GB – CNY 2,499 (~Rs. 28,100)
12GB+256GB – CNY 2,699 (~Rs. 30,350)
Redmi K40 Pro/K40 Pro+
Both these phones come with a 120Hz AMOLED display with a 360Hz touch response rate. These phones are powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset and are available with up to 12GB o RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ differ only in the camera department. With the K40 Pro having a 64MP sensor while the K$) Pro+ has a 108MP sensor. Apart from this, both the phones have the same specs including the two other lenses i.e. 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP telephoto macro lens. The phones have a 4520mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

As of now, no information is available as to when Xiaomi will launch these phones in India. But we sincerely hope that they don’t take much time in launching these phones in India.
