The Note series by Redmi has been quite popular among Indian buyers. So, the anticipation and hype around the latest entrant in the series is quite natural. And now, finally, Xiaomi has announced a release date for Redmi Note 10. The phone will be launched on 4th March 2021.

Specs and Features

No official detail has been released yet. But based on the rumours and marketing campaigns there are some assumptions and predictions that can be made. For example one of the phrases used by Xiaomi is “smoothest ever”. This seems to indicate that the phone will have a high refresh rate screen. The Note 9 series had just a 60Hz panel. This year you can definitely expect Xiaomi to give at least a 90Hz panel to Note 10. However, there has been some leaks and rumours suggesting that Redmi Note 10 will be getting a 120Hz screen. So, don’t be surprised if this year’s Note has a 120Hz panel.

Some other rumours suggest that the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 732G chipset and a 5,050mAh battery. These rumours are also very close to being accurate as Xiaomi themselves have said that the phone will have a Snapdragon chipset and a big battery. Xiaomi has also said that Note 10 will have Gorilla Glass protection and an IP52 rating for dust and water protection.

On the camera front, leaks suggest that the phone might have either a 64MP or a 108Mp main sensor. Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Vice-President, has confirmed that Redmi Note 10 will have a 5MP macro sensor.

According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, the non-pro version of the phone will be released in two variants: 4+64GB and 6+64GB. And the pro version of Note 10 will have three variants: 6+64GB, 6+128GB, and 8+128GB.

You can expect the phone to be priced at around 15000 INR. Since the Redmi Note series typically competes in that segment.
